Some
interesting research results
In a recently published work
with Chaitanya Joshi (arXiv: 0903.2991) we have studied the effect of disorder
on a propagating
BEC in presence of strong
non-linearity by isolating slow momentum componets of the propagating
condensate from the fast
one numericall to understand
the mechanism of quantum localization in presence of nonlinearity and disorder.
The three figures below show
the plots for density, coherence and phase fluctuations of a propagating
disordered BEC.
