Apply for the Full time or Part time PhD and MS(R) positions in DESE. The next interview for the Ph.D. programme will be done around April. - May. 2024. Keep on checking DESE Departmental or IIT Website. If you can work on my areas of interest for the Ph.D. you need to upload a statement of purpose (SOP) during your online submission. Also, you need to mention plasma sources and plasma processing for societal applications. Part time scholar and candidate with JRF for full time research are also welcome.

Interested candidate can also send the CV and statement of purpose. Also, you can meet personally to get the chance to interact for the preparation for the possibility.

Ph.D. Students: (Those with GATE and JRF) for full time or students for part-time Ph.D

Welcome to students who are interested to take up work in the following areas:

  1. New kind of plasma sources and plasma diagnostics, and their applications
  2. Magnetron sputtering and PECVD discharges
  3. Flexible functional materials by advanced magnetron sputtering
  4. Developing plasma processes for energy, electronic, and bio materials
  5. Flexible materials and devices
