This document contains some example input files for μic. The XML files are setup files for problems and the files in the recources folder can be used to define particle size distributions and time steps for the simulations.

The Alite.xml file is an example with only Alite.

The AliteCoarse.xml file is similar to Alite.xml, only with larger particles.

FillerExample.xml includes a filler of 2.0 units size.

CementExample.xml contains some more phases in the simulation, with fictitious models that may not be accurate.

Packing.xml just creates a packing of spherical particles.

Flocculation.xml flocculates the packing using the trivial flocculation agorithm provided in μic.

Nucleation.xml simulates the nucleation and growth of a single material.

The file resources/timesteps.txt gives the time steps for simulations.

psdExample.txt gives a particle size distribution with a small number of particles.

psdMono2.txt represents a powder with all particles with diameter 2.0

The files in the resources/particles folder give particle size distributions that give the number of particles in the file name when the powder occupies 44.25 percent of a volume 100 units on the side. This is equivalent to 0.4 water to cement ratio in cement.
