Assignment 2: Project Proposal

Please form a project group of 4-5 students and the upload the group details at this link. The group should share a project proposal report with a schematic/sketch of your final project idea(s). Describe what it will do and who is it for. Describe your approach, hypothesis and expected outcomes, mention challenges that you foresee, components required, skills used, timeline.
Your project should use IoT skills learnt in the class to build dataloggers to conduct experiments by collecting data for a real world problem e.g. indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring, thermal comfort measurements in hostel rooms, measurements for a health care application, monitoring the soil health in a farm, temperatures below the earth to be used for natural heating/cooling, monitoring energy consumption of every individual, etc. Refer to course overview slides 50/51 on project ideas. You should analyze this data to understand the problem and share insights into unfolding mysteries of this planet :). The problem may require iterations based on experiments conducted/field visits. The IoT device(s) that you use should be soldered to a PCB, have data stored in a datalogger and/or the cloud, have a display to see real time values and also be enclosed in a weatherproof housing.
