Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computers (or workstations) to aid in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing. CAD output is often in the form of electronic files for print, machining, or other manufacturing operations. The term CADD (for Computer Aided Design and Drafting) is also used.
There are various aspects of CAD design. Such as:

In this assignment i am going to create a 3d Text sign board using PhotoShop 3D interface.
Photoshop 3D was introduced in the 2013 version of Adobe Photoshop. The official version name was Adobe Photoshop CC 2013.
Photoshop 3D has very limited functionality as compared to the industry standard 3d modeling softwares, but appreciable results can be achieved using the tools and feature provided in the software.
The following picture shows the steps taken to make a 3d neon led sign:
At first a text layer is used with the text that'll be used in the neon sign. For this project we went with the sign saying "Cultural Bureau".
Multiple layers of text are taken to form the base and the hanging face of the board. To connect the base and the hanging face an array of spokes are made to connect both the layers. Each layers is then extruded to a certain thickness.
