2. Project description-

The inspiration for this project is based on the comfort of an individual especilly for an elderly person or a person with inabilty to walk. It is very challenging for an eldery person or a person unable to walk to keep locking/unlocking the door when it is at some distance. With the idea which I am going to use, person can easily lock/unlock a door without moving from the orignal place with just a click of a button on their phone and hence it is a reasonable solution for the above problem We will be using an motor which is on one end is connected eith a latch and on the other end will be connect with the arduino The arduino will get it's input using a bluetooth transciever which we will be controlling from our phone . Finally the motor will be pushing or pulling the the latch as per the requirement.

4. Skills required-

  1. A good knowledge of prgramming a micro-controller.

  2. Need to build a working and efficient circuit.

  3. Need a good knowledge of building an android UI development.

  4. CAD model for the hardware tool design.

5. Anticipated challenges-

  1. CAD modelling we have to make for the hardware. The hardware is supposed to be reliable and efficient, so we can face some challenges there.

  2. Making an android UI is on of most challenging thing for us because both of us have no prior knowledge of it.

  3. Finally the major part of the challenges will be debugging of the errors we are going to face in the process.
