Research Interests
My area of research is related to hydrogen energy optimization through numerical modeling using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Density Function theory (DFT). The optimization domains involve a variety of future hydrogen technologies like Electrolyzer, Microbial Fuel cells (MFCs), Liquid hydrogen storage tanks (Cryogenics), etc.
Current Projects
- Optimization of liquid hydrogen storage tanks to reduce boil-off losses using multiphase CFD simulations.
- Numerical modeling of alkaline water electrolyzer via coupling of electrochemistry and CFD.
- Model development of microbial electrolytic cells (MECs) for hydrogen production.
