Research

Intro

Our research lab is called BIOS. This is an interdisciplinary research lab with Experimental Optics at its core. There are two research tracks in our lab: 1. bio-imaging, and 2. optical systems. We develop novel optical microscopy, imaging, and sensing techniques. We strive to invent and turn our inventions into user-friendly instruments. We rely on optical, optomechanical, electrical, DIY electronics, and computational tools. Our lab's motto is "Invent, Build, Disseminate, Repeat."

Current Research Areas

  1. Optical microscopy

  2. Schleiren imaging
