Installation and setup (Android smartphone):

1. Download Pocket Schlieren app file using the APK download button above. The file is named "app_pocket_schliere_v0.1.apk" (file size: 218.6 MB). You may have to ignore a "file may be harmful" message on your android smartphone.
2. Touch the APK file in "downloads" folder to install it. A pop-up message will ask "Do you want to install app", you may choose "install".
3. Open the app. The first launch of the app will ask for permissions for camera and microphone access. Allow it.
4. For full functionality, go to "App permission" for the "Pocket Schlieren" app and enable access to camera, files & media, and microphone. Without these permissions the app may crash.
5. Find live BOS image and video captures in internal memory > picture folder > BOSPro folder.
6. Find the processing results of "Pre-recorded BOS" in internal memory > picture folder > Burst camera folder.
