Course Components and Grading Policy

• Minor (17%), Major (25%)
• Tutorial submissions (8x2 = 16%) - best 8-out-of-10 tutorial submissions will be considered
• Quizzes (4x10 = 40%) - best 4-out-of-5 quizzes will be considered
• Class participation (2%)

Course Calendar

Tutorial Guidelines

• There are ten tutorials scheduled, numbered T1 to T10. Please attend your own group's tutorial.
• Please check the course calendar to see when your tutorial is scheduled (e.g. the second tutorial for Group 2 is scheduled on Friday, 23rd August).
• Every tutorial sheet will contain one/two (*) marked problems. These must be submitted at the start of the tutorial. Each tutorial submission is worth 2 points, and the best-8-out-of-10 tutorial scores will be considered.
• You are allowed to discuss the tutorial submissions with other students, but you must write the solutions in your own words. Copying solutions from other students/Internet will count as plagiarism.
