Computational Electromagnetics
Electromagnetics offer an array of applications where Finite Elemenet (FE) and to a lesser extent Bounary Element (BEM) has been fruitfully applied for modelling and simulation. In recent years, due to intense competition coupled with easy avalibility of computational resources, the shift is towards more and more simulations and less on exprerimentation. But many problems like nonlinear electromagnetics, design, optimization etc lead to computation intensive tasks, which call for better algorithms over and above the basic FE method. This forms the major part of the research in our group.
