Important note: For some registered students from the 2025-entry batch or earlier, the course coordinator does not have access to their group numbers; consequently, their group numbers are not listed in the tutorial schedule above. These students may attend any tutorial session scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, but not Friday, due to the limited seating capacity in LH615. Once they select a day and room, they must continue attending the same session for the remainder of the semester; otherwise, their attendance may not be recorded correctly. A registered student who cannot attend any of these tutorial sessions because of a scheduling conflict must drop AML1000.
Group number mapping for second-year (2025-entry batch) students:
- Groups 41–44 indicate 2nd-year CE1 students of Groups 1–4 respectively.
- Groups 51–54 indicate 2nd-year BB1 students of Groups 1–4 respectively.
- Groups 61–64 indicate 2nd-year ES1 students of Groups 1–4 respectively.
- Groups 71–74 indicate 2nd-year MS1 students of Groups 1–4 respectively.
- Groups 81–84 indicate 2nd-year PH1 students of Groups 1–4 respectively.
- Group 91 indicates 2nd-year DD2 students.

Attendance
Attendance Policy:
- Students are expected to attend all the lectures and tutorial classes. One grade may be reduced if a student's attendance is less than 75%.
- Any student who is caught signing on the attendance sheet for another student in any lecture/tutorial session will get a zero on the tutorial attendance part (zero on 10%).
- One make-up examination may be conducted for the students who miss the regular mid-semester examination due to medical reasons (a medical certificate from IIT Hospital is compulsory for each case). However, the make-up examination will be more difficult than the regular examination. No additional quizzes will be taken.
Miscellaneous Information
Cases of plagiarism will be dealt with sternly, and all parties involved will receive identical punishment. Finding any evidence of plagiarism will lead to zero being awarded to all parties on that entire exam.
