Summary of Experience

I have balanced exposure in Planning, Construction and Maintenance of different types of buildings, roads, bridges and other related infrastructure projects. I have also exposure in delivering lectures in various engineering institutions. I have also dealt with various contracts and assisted the department in defending disputes filed by the Contractors. Various lectures have been delivered by me in arbitration on the following topics:

(i) Case study of Arbitration Cases.
(ii) Case study in construction contract disputes settlement by Arbitrator.
(iii) How to avoid arbitration through proper Project Management.
(iv) Preparation of effective CSF and defending the Arbitrator and Case Laws.
(v) How to draw construction contracts.
(vi) Contractual disputes and remedies.
(vii) Vigilance aspects in contract management.
(viii) Contract management.

Planning: In the planning unit, I have been associated with structural design of Residential and Office Building in various parts of the country.

Maintenance: I have been associated with Maintenance of VIP areas both residential and non-residential and have got good exposure working in sensitive areas.

Construction: I was also associated with various construction works in different parts of the country including Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi, Dehradun, Jodhpur, Bangalore, Mysore, Coimbatore, Almora etc. I worked in various parts of the country including far-flung areas of North East, where I was associated with construction of hill road, micro hydel works, bridges and construction of hill type buildings, which are earthquake-resistant, flexible structures. I worked as housing expert with the Government of Ethopia at Addis Ababa for 3 years and have exposure working with the International experts.

Valuation: In the last 4 years of my service, I worked with the Income Tax Department advising the Government and the Central Board of Direct Taxes regarding valuation of immovable properties and have also worked as one of the members of the Bench of Appropriate Authority, Government of India at Chennai.

Teaching: I have been delivering lecturer in Institute of Engineers, Institution of Valuers Training Institute of Central Public Works Dept., Rites, Prasar Bharti etc. on Building Construction Management, Building Contract Management and Arbitration.

Publication: I have written a book on valuation and written number of articles in national and international magazines on Structures, management, project management and valuation and also participated in various seminars organized by Institution of Engineers, Indian Road Congress, Institution of Valuers and the Institution of Charted Accountants.
