Dr. Sushma Santapuri

Dr. Santapuri is a faculty member in the Department of Applied Mechanics at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi since July 2016. Prior to joining IIT Delhi, Dr. Santapuri was working as a visiting scholar at University of California, Berkeley. She received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2012 and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2007.

We have positions available for PhD (2 openings) and MS(R) students to work in the field of multifunctional material modeling and intelligent device design. The position will require background in solid mechanics and experience with coding (in MATLAB, Python etc.) or any finite element software.
