Prof. Supratic Gupta, Faculty IIT Delhi emphasized upon the important role that our educational institutions could play in creating leaders among our students by nurturing a regulated and positive political environment in the campus. Currently, even the faculty is not allowed to participate in any political activities and politics is seen as an evil that destroy the academic atmosphere of the institutions. Why students could not be nurtured in the art of communication, leadership and politics, through regulated activities of debates, discussion and through letting them join political parties? Germany and other western countries have highly educated political leaders, who are running the country in better ways. Let's change the world by first creating and nurturing world class leaders in our schools, colleges and universities.
