Research Interest:

Preparation and characterization of recombinant virus-like particles, Protein biochemistry and biophysics

Self-assembled protein-based particles are an emerging research field because of diverse biotechnological and biomedical applications. The ability of viral capsid proteins to self-assemble under certain physico-chemical conditions is the major attribute for the development of Virus-like particles (VLPs). My PhD work aims for the development of VLPs, understanding the fabrication factors involved for its development, and further utilization of these self-assembled particles for biomedical applications.
