After
earning
my Bachelors (2003, Honours in Physics) and Masters (2005,
Physics) degrees from the University of Calcutta, I also received
my PhD degree from the same University (PhD Institution: IACS,
Kolkata, India, Advisers: Prof. Sourov
Roy
and
Prof. Utpal
Chattopadhyay).
I worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the IFT, Madrid, Spain (2011
– 2015, Mentor: Prof. Carlos
Muñoz)
and at the LPT, Orsay & CPhT, Ecole Polytechnique, France
(2015 – 2017, Mentors: Prof. Emilian
Dudas &
Dr. Yann
Mambrini).
Before joining the Dept of Physics, IIT Delhi in March, 2018 as an
Assistant Professor, I taught for a brief period of time in the
Department of Physics, Vidyasagar College, Kolkata, India. My
research interests span various phenomenological aspects of
Physics beyond the Standard Model.
