Hi! I am a maker at heart and like teaching functional prototyping involving mechatronic design and fabrication in fun ways :).
Research and practice wise, I am interested to design and develop products/solutions to improve the quality of life of people. I would like to focus on design for wellness in our habitat (in the form of buildings and the cities that we live in). I feel design research to be an interdisciplinary process and I love to work at the intersection of these areas.
The last date for application for PhD admissions for the autumn semester 2020 for our department at IIT Delhi is 30th March, 2020.
Please feel free to explore other areas of my website.
If you are contemplating doctoral studies (PhD) with me, please refer to this link for more information.
I was invited for a Design Thinking workshop by Prof Biswajita Parida, DMS, IIT Delhi for her course on Product Management (MSL 862).
I was a faculty mentor in a summer bootcamp focussing on medical device development conducted in June-July 2019 for students from IIT Delhi and AIIMS. We are excited that a couple of projects have received research grants (FIRP AIIMS-IITD) for two years to take them to the next level.
I would be teaching two courses on functional prototyping with digital fabrication techniques for the coming Autumn semester. The classes start on 22th July 2019. Link
I was invited for a talk on functional prototyping with digital fabrication techniques as a part of the workshop organized by DIC, IIT Roorkee.
Preliminary design and fabrication of an xy plotter.
My joining date at IIT Delhi.
