Project Presentation:

Our goal is to develop a stair climbing robot which can climb stairs and uneven surfaces.

Aprroach:

Our first approach was to find out various wheel shapes that can make it easier to climb stairs or uneven surfaces. Then we researched on the internet and assimilated appropriate resources that are required for the success of this project.

Purpose and use:

The stair climbing robot can efficiently climb stairs or uneven surfaces which makes it cabable for search and rescue operations during earthquakes or other natural calamities, where human life can be in danger.Also if more advancements is done on the design, like using more powerful motors or stronger chasis, this robot can be used for carrying heavy objects in rough terrain.

We will be making 3D CAD model using solidworks, then getting wheels maunufactures on 3D printers also machining work will be needed on body and finally Aurdino programing needs to be done.
