PROBLEM: The problem is pain or lack of muscle strength in getting up and sitting on the chair. This is caused due to several reasons like due to diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, age factor, the lifestyle of a person, injury in knee or thigh muscle, etc. Senior citizens living alone do it by their own which increases the chances of falling which is very dangerous for a senior citizen or a patient. Also, sitting is important as staying and lying on bed always can induce laziness, can decrease the will power of a person to live life the way they used to live earlier. Also, this can develop some sort of mental sickness and cause bed sore. Senior citizens living alone in their home don’t have anybody to support or assist while getting up from the chair or while sitting. It is very important to give them a confidence to live life on their own and independently.
