- Theme of the workshop:
Faculty
members of IIT Delhi and industry experts will conduct a 3-day course
on Optical Fiber/Wireless Communications and Networks. The topics
covered will include:
- Recent trends and bandwidth requirements
- Introduction to optical communications
- Wireless optical communications
- Optical networks
- Optical access networks
- Software defined optical networks
- Practical deployment issues in core and FTTH networks
This course will
also include lab sessions and field visits. This short-term course will
enable you to teach a coourse on this topic in your institute, and
initiate research activities in related areas. On successful completion
of the course, participants will be provided with a certificate.
