Low Cost Air Quality Data Collection System

PROJECT PROPOSAL.

In Asian countries including India, the air pollutions is a major and severe environmental problems so in this countries very poor air quality observed by majority population. The lot of health issues like respiratory diseases, developing cancer, serious sickness and trouble. The work proposes a cloud based air quality detection System that analyzes the data for providing atmospheric quality to the user in real time

NEED STATEMENT

We are going to develope a low cost device which will monitor the air quality in real time and more precisely it will tell you when you should get outside and which route you should follow to avoid health hazard because of poor air quality.

MATERIAL REQUIRED

  • PM 2.5 sensor

  • DHT 11

  • MQ 135 sensors

  • GPRS Module

PROJECT FLOW.

  • In the very first stage of this project we will extract raw data from PM 2.5 sensor using arduino.

  • The raw data will be voltage, so we need to map the voltage to PM 2.5 output using GP2Y1014AU0F datasheet.

  • Using arduino wifi module or NODE MCU the data will be remotely transferred to Master CPU.

  • Using GPRS module we can pin-point the data source.

  • Now we can add more module to arduino to get more data about temperature, humidity, co2 level, SO2 level, O3.

  • After collecting all the required data we could use Google Map to create safe route, to locate hazardous place.
