Laboratory
Each group gets a total of 14 laboratory classes. There are ten experiments to be covered - five experiments in the electronics laboratory, and five in the power laboratory. There will be one lab test after the first five experiments, and another after the last five experiments.
List of experiments:
- Study of the Cathode Ray Oscilloscope (CRO).
- Experiments on resistive circuits.
- Steady state response of RLC circuits.
- Step response of RLC circuits.
- Operational amplifiers and their applications.
- Single phase circuit power measurement using one wattmeter.
- Three phase circuit power measurement using two wattmeters.
- Sigle loop transformer B-H curve.
- Determination of parameters and losses using open-circuit and
short-circuit tests on a single-phase transformer.
- Determination of open circuit characteristics of a separately excited
DC generator.
