Poster title "Physicochemical Characterisation of Promoters using Molecular Dynamics Simulation-based Parameters"
Event 2: Attended SERB High-End Workshop (KARYASHALA) on "Bioinformatics and statistical analysis of genome-scale DNA and RNA sequencing data to understand human diseases" at the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), Kalyani, India.
Gained knowledge on DNA and RNA sequencing analysis from both the computational and non-computational perspective. Secured overall 2nd position in the quiz competition (1st position in 2 rounds).
Roles
Role 1: Resource person for NGS analysis/genome annotation at DST-SERB Sponsored “Bioinformatics workshop for genomics and proteomic analysis” 2024 at DBUU, Dehradun, India.
Delivered lecture and hands-on session on NGS analysis to the participants.
Role 2: Invited Subject area Expert/Trainer for the Computational Genomics Track at CADDSB workshop 2023 at IIT (BHU), Varanasi, India.
Delivered practical sessions on Genomics with Python, genome utilities from SCFBio, and using Linux
