Q1. What if the part doesn't cut fully or we have to clean the nozzle clog while the part if cut? Can we resume cutting from where the part has not been cut?

A1. Please refer to Page 43 of the Protomax User Guide. There is a feature called "Go To Spot on Path" which can be used to resume cutting from the point where the cutting didn't happen.

Please note that we don't have a air dryer/air compressor right now so either you can blow in the abrasive tube to get the water out or dry the abrasive tube.

Please check with the makerspace staff if the nozzle assembly has been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner within a week of use.

Assignment 6: Computer controlled cutting

Create a press fit assembly using at least two parts using a computer controlled cutting method and document the process. Compare the dimensions in the CAD vs. the part cut. What is the kerf of the parts cut?
