Assignment 4

1.Displaying output from DHT11 Sensor on LCD Display

We are combining the input data from the DHT11 Sensor which senses temperature and humidity in the room and will display the output on the LCD Display

The Code

Documenting the process

1. While writing the code for arduino we start with labelling the output pin. In this case 3 output pins were needed
2. And now the loop code was written according to our requirements as to what command should reciprocate what.
3. In this case i have used 4 values 3 for different colors and another one for "all off".
4. For the code of processing we first start with including the library
5. We specify the font size, the dimensions of our buttons, the dimensions of the window,background color,etc.
6. Now while writing the functions to the button for this we specify what to print when a certain button is pressed which will then be picked up by the arduino code

2.Different sensors in the phone and their fucnctions

1. Ambient Light Sensor: A light sensor reports the current illumination in SI lux units
2. Proximity Sensor: it reports the distance from the sensor to the closest visible surface
3. Linear Accelerometer: it reports the linear accelaration of the device in the sensor frame, not including gravity
4. Magnetometer: measures magnetic field in micro tesla
5. Gyroscope: provides orientation information
6. Microphone: detects sound intensity

Apart from this it has many other sensors such as Barometer,Thermometer, Humidity Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor, GPS Sensor, Camera and lots of other sensors as well.
