DSR832: Design for User Experience (Mar 2023)
As with past years, created and conducted two classroom sessions (3h total) on the topic of ethics in UI/UX design for masters students. Discussed dark patterns, dark infrastructures, and their harmful impact. This time, introduced a novel framework to help students understand the role of visible and invisible design elements in perpetuating ethical concerns.
Workshop for PhD Researchers and Design Educators (May 2022)
Created and conducted a 2 hour lecture + discussion session with an audience of 20, including PhD students and design educators. Discussed the ethical aspects of UI/UX design, dark patterns, dark infrastructures, and the possibilities of ethical decision making in design.

Created and conducted two classroom sessions (3h total) on the topic of ethics in UI/UX design for masters students. Discussed ethical issues such as dark patterns and dark infrastructures. Shared a framework for ethical decision making in design. Later conducted research-purpose feedback sessions to understand the needs, gaps and expected outcomes of ethics education in design.
Digital Media and Design Course for Class IX Students (Feb 2022 & Mar 2022)
Created and conducted 10 sessions (20h total) spanning across 5 Delhi Govt. schools. Sessions were a part of an introductory design course for Class IX students. Taught concepts of persuasive design, followed by introduction of ethical issues. Conducted in-classroom activities such as ethics evaluation of a design and advertisement design activity.
Design Thinking Course for Class IX Students (Oct 2021)
Conducted an 8-session (2h each) introductory design thinking workshop for Class IX students in 2 Delhi Govt. schools. Introduced students to a 5-step design thinking process. Taught skills such as problem formulation, ideation, prototyping and evaluation. Conducted various classroom activities and exercises.
