All the sensors in our mobile device are MEMS based for compact size and on the same time they are very reliable. Most of the app that we are using uses our mobile sensors. Google map is using GPS, magnetometer, accelerometer and few other sensor to figure out its position and orientation in real time. UBER, OLA, RAPIDO etc are using google API to collect same data from them. The light sensor in our mobile measures ambience light and adjust brightness of screen to ensure proper visibility. Many of the games that we play today uses orientation, accelerometer to control our game.
