The quest of our research lab is to design solutions for Quality of Life Enhancement using Sciences and Technology and therefore the name 'QuEST' Lab :). We work in the areas of 1. environmental sustainability on aspects related to air quality (both outdoor and indoor), thermal comfort (including UHIE) and reducing energy consumption in buildings and their interrelationships in the context of environmental health and wellness. 2. R&D of Medical Devices.
Working on this quest is possible because of interdisciplinary collaborations with awesome faculty from different departments at IIT Delhi and AIIMS. More details about the students who make this possible can be found from the list of PhD students and Research Scholars.
I am also the faculty incharge of a state-of-the-art makerspace at IIT Delhi for mechatronics based design and fabrication facilities. The makerspace has machines ranging from CNC router, laser cutter, 3d printer, PCB router, mechanical equipment (for cutting, grinding, shearing, drilling, etc.), multipurpose lab stations for electronics, soldering stations, etc.
