Courses
I taught DDL753 (Design of Sustainable Habitats) and DDL313 (Creativity and Sustainability in Nature) in Autumn 2024 semester. DDL753 (Design of Sustainable Habitats) was offerred in Autumn 2023 semester.
I taught DDL124 (Design with contemporary technologies) to the B.Des. students in Spring 2023 and Spring 2024.
DDL735 (Data Driven Design) course was offered in Spring 2024 semester where the students built their own IoT based data logger(s) and used it with the sensors of choice, understood from experiments in the real world. DSL 810 (Special Topics in Design I) course was offered as Introduction to IoT Prototyping in the Autumn 2022 semester. In the past, it was offered in Autumn 2019 and Spring 2020 semester. Autumn 2020 was an online semester and so, Data Driven Design was offered as DSL 810 in this semester (link).
I have taught Mechanical Prototyping, DSL 732 in the Autumn semester 2019 by myself and in the Spring semester 2021 and Spring 2022 with Prof PVM Rao. The Mechanical Prototyping course is called Advanced material processes and die design (DSL 732). The students get a hands-on exposure to the digital fabrication based prototyping techniques such as laser cutting, 3d printing, CNC based routing, molding and casting, etc.
