Dynamic Computer Simulation & Automotive Safety

Since 1993 , we have been doing extensive work in the area of safety analysis with emphasis on computer simulations of vehicle

crashes. Simulating crash situations helps to estimate the injury caused to occupants as well as pedestrians. The team at TRIPP has developed

extensive simulations for car crashes, motor cycle crashes as well as three wheelers. The team has done constructive work for many industry including Japan Automobile Research Industry (JARI), General Motor(GM). Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and Baja Auto.

Broad Area

  1. Simulation of Car-MC crashes

  2. Airbag models for Crash Simulation

  3. Study of Airbag on motor-cycle

  4. Accident Reconstruction

  5. Rollover Analysis of RTV

  6. 3 Wheeler Simulation.

  7. Safety Modeling and epidemiological Research

  8. Bus/Truck Simulation

  9. Prediction of Crushing behavior of Honeycomb Structure

  10. Vulnerable Road User (VRU) Simulation

  11. Modelling of Helmet
